Cross Country Season Details & Meet Schedule

Practices are held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during 2nd recess.

2026 Meet Schedule:

  • Friday, Sept 11: Lancer Cross Country Meet at Cliffside Park (7320 Michna Road, Racine, WI 53402) (Coaches’ meeting at 4:00 PM; meet follows)

  • Friday, Sept 18: Trinity Trek CC Meet at Gorney Park (Caledonia, WI)

  • Saturday, Sept 26: SLHS Grade School Meet at Shoreland Lutheran High School (Somers, WI)

  • Friday, Oct 2: Faith Lutheran Cross Country Invitational at Faith Lutheran Church (24300 W. Grass Lake Rd., Antioch, IL)

  • TBD: St. John Fun Run (At St. John Lutheran School or nearby park)

  • TBD: St. Joe’s Cross Country Meet (Kenosha, WI — Grades 5–8)

Boy and Girl Pioneers

Boy & Girl Pioneers Starting Monday, September 14!

Pioneers for boys and girls in Grades 3–8 begin on Monday, September 14, after school til 4:30 PM.

Volunteer Opportunity:

The Boy Pioneers group is looking for a Safe Child Approved parent helper for meetings. This volunteer role counts toward your PPP hours! Contact Jeff Thies if you are interested in helping.

After-School Clubs

LEGO Building Club Starts Tuesday, October 20!

We are excited to launch the LEGO Building Club on Tuesday, October 20! The club will meet weekly on Tuesdays from 3:20 PM to 4:15 PM for four weeks, concluding on November 10. A special thank you to Bethany Holter and Dawn Atto for leading this session!

Enrollment Details:

  • Form & Fee: To enroll your child, please complete and return the LEGO Club Permission Slip along with a $20 check made out to the school. Hard copies of the form are available in the school office.

  • Capacity: We need a minimum of 5 students to run the club, with a maximum capacity of 16 students (filled on a first-come, first-served basis).

  • Grade Levels: Open to all grades, though activities are tailored for younger students. If enrollment exceeds capacity, priority will be given to students up to 4th grade.
